Thinking about picking up some runners but hear the sizing is different than true to size for American. I am a size 11 what size should I pick up?

I don’t have any stores near me to try on some acne track pants. Deciding between the technical trousers or the relaxed fit trousers and from what i can tell acne sizing is weird. I know size medium jeans are about a 32 waist (my size) but don’t know if an EU48 is too big or not. Plz help
