You're probably wondering what I mean by word of power. A word of power is a word that causes emotional reaction when uttered. Accusatory words meant to describe immorality, bad events or actions with negative repercussions. The thing about words of power is they lose a tiny bit of their power whenever its used.
The modern left (I'm talking about you, reddit) has adopted an all-or-nothing state of mind and over the last ten years or so jumped to the extremities of what the English language has to offer, invoking their words of power at the slightest sniff of anything that challenged their narrative and worldview. Nazi, bigot, Hitler, racist and various other types of -ists and -phobes.
For a while, it was effective when used in moderation at times when it was appropriate and helped them gain control of the mainstream narrative. That is, until everyone started using these words of power as if they were Harry Potter spells that instantly converted anyone to their worldview. Fast forward to today.
Now nobody cares about being called a racist, bigot, homophobe, nazi or even "literally Hitler". The modern left's words of power have run out of mana and they've reached the limits of the English language. There are no dragon shouts left.
