Im in the market to replace my terrible rebuilt title mazda 3 2013 gx. It’s given me a number of issues and im ready to get myself a safer and more reliable vehicle. My budget is around $16,000 CAD (basically 12k USD). I want to go the safe route and go for this 2018 corolla from clutch.ca with 92kms but theres a hyundai elantra essential 2023 with 100kms at my local dealership. Both have CVT transmission which im a bit worried about but ive heard the toyota version is much better. Would love to hear what people have experienced with these transmissions. Im still open to getting anything but id prefer either a toyota, mazda or honda. Let me know what you guys would get in my situation. I just need something that feels safe to drive on the highway, is going to last me as long time with minimal issues and is within my budget of course.
