Captured the sun on my tewa few days ago
Some days ago it wasn't as hot and I could risk drinking some tea on the balcony. This is a cheap but tasty Yin Xiang. I really like how the sun makes the tea shine yellow.

I love knitting socks but I do it only cuff down because I don't know how long to make the foot until the starting of the heel. I only found one toe-up sock chart (from Addi) but I don't know if I can trust it because it says for my size you need 56 stitches for one round and every other (cuff down) sock chart says to make 60 stitches. What I'm looking for is a sock chart for toe-up socks for different heel types. I'm doing mostly shadow wrap heels but also the occasional flap-and-gusset-heel.
Edit: Okay I don't understand. There are charts for cuff-down socks for standard heels and standard toes. But there seem to not be charts for toe-up. All I'm gonna get is 'it don't work like this'. I'm even getting downvoted. So why doesn't it work the other way around? I'm genuinely confused.
I needed a little palette cleanser from my current WIPs so I stitched Dr. Alphys from Undertale. Also I tried a new technique that I recently learned from a video posted on this sub (something about using acute angles so the holes are less occupied) and it worked pretty well. It does use up more thread though.
Pattern is from the Undertale Cross Stitch Kit, stitched on 14ct Aida 2 over 2.
I've been knitting socks for quite some time now. And I am a very tight knitter so everything with cable pattern was always a struggle for my fingers and really didn't look good. But in the last years I learned to knit a bit less tight and now I wanted to see if cables look better now.
Well see for yourself. I'm proud. It's not a really complicated pattern but it looks so nice. This will be a pair of socks for my SO because the last I knitted for him was ages ago.
Pattern is Rabbit Hole by Kimberly Pieper, yarn is Lana Grossa Meilenweit in Ultimo.
I haven't posted here for a few months now but I'm still there, mostly lurking. I had a hiatus of cross stitching for about half a year (did some other fiber crafts though, like knitting socks and latch hooking) but since a few weeks I am back. Just came by to show you the stage of my current WIP, Tatooine by Country Magic Stitch.
I have this comic flying around since months now and finally have the time to read it. I also love tea, so I slapped out my favorite aged white to do a session outside on the balcony as it's great weather over here. Tomorrow I will go visit my best friend for a week so no celebrating May the Fourth. Thought I would do this instead: Enjoying myself with a nice cup of tea and the best boys I've never met.
