I’ve thought about it. I watched the tape. I was infatuated with the standing reach and measurements. But I’m not sold on the tape. I was just here asking to be convinced on Fleming. If we want Mara trade down and get a future first or something.

Mara’s ceiling could be Rudy Gobert if Snyder can develop him into that. But he is not the best player available at 8.

I want Mikal Brown Jr or Kingston. I’ll be okay with Wagler but he’s my least favorite guard in our range.

I love Mikal Brown Jr. I like Keaton Wagler. I know Acuff won’t be around. If Kingston is just the most solid 2 way player that’s great. But everyone that says we have to go guard has go to acknowledge that Flemmings upside isn’t as high as the other guys. Unless yall see something I don’t.

I’d rather we trade back and get Mara. Then do what Onsi is talks about which is focusing on development.

We can’t win a title if we can’t compete with Chet Holmgren and Wemby. We gotta beat KAT and depending on how the offseason goes we need people who can help with Giannis.

I’m not saying Mara is my guy but I just feel like if we go guard because we HAVE TO we will get a good starter but not a great player.

If Acuff, MBJ, and Wagler are gone I’d rather we see what OKC would do to trade up.
