If certain people think Pierre should step down as conservative leader because some MP’s have crossed the floor, should carney also step down because entire provinces want to separate from how unhappy they are with his leadership?
If someone leaves a party and crosses the floor for perks and to finally receive the funding their ridings rightfully needs which is being withheld, it’s more of a show of character for the mp and the people they cross to rather than the leader of the party they left.
But entire provinces wanting to separate because of a prime minister and his policy being so bad? That’s huge. That’s the sort of failure of leadership that has historically sparked civil unrest. People that divisive should not hold higher office.
Just using some LPC style logic here, but it seems valid considering they think Pierre should step down after being one of the most popular PM candidates in Canadian history. And Despite the fact that the only reason Pierre lost the last election was because bloc and ndp supporters flocked to carney because they were so concerned about the gravy train ending at the expense of Canadas prosperity.
