is it really painful? i don’t have a phobia of needles but it’s in the spine so i am a bit anxious

will it feel similar to when blood is drawn out for testing or will it be really painful and how long will it take for the anesthesia to take effect and is it true that you really don’t feel any major pain once anesthesia takes effect
