Hi there! I’m an incoming grad student in GSAS (Courant) and I was wondering how the culture is among GSAS students. I come from a school that I’d say is on the opposite end of the spectrum from NYU, from culture to location, so I have no idea what to expect here. Is it hyper competitive? Or more chill/cooperative? Does the school host many grad student focused events to meet others? How are the networking opportunities and recruitment events?
