Got temporary root but scared to edit anything.

I recently got temporary root access on my Oppo A74 4G (ColorOS 13.1). I can currently modify files in /dev, /sys, and /data, but not in /proc dont ask why, I can't tell you because Oppo will probably patch it directly.

However, since AVB and dm-verity are enabled, I understand that modifying critical partitions like /system can potentially lead to a boot failure or a bricked device.

I wanted to ask people who have been in similar situations: what approach did you take in this case?

Just to clarify:

1.Bootloader is locked (i cant unlock it because of oppo rule since 2016)

2.AVB is enabled

3.dm-verity is enabled

  1. No Magisk,Su,custom rom are installed

  2. And most important selinux is permissive

Any advice or shared experience would be really appreciated.
