first playthrough results!

this was my first playthrough i've done myself but i knew a bit beforehand. not as much as i thought I did though because I went in semi-blind.

we were on a good roll and on track for Everybody Lives! and then i fucked up. 9 chapters without a single death and then when it came time to shoot Laura or Chris, I mistook Chris for Laura and thought "she won't hurt him, he's infected!" so i didn't shoot. yeah that turned out well.

and then in chapter 10 when it came time to shoot Caleb with the shells I got from Abi and Emma, I MISSED THE SHOT. so Caleb mauled Kaitlyn and then the chapter immediately ended. wow how anticlimactic. didn't even get the chapter 10 achievement. i think because i killed kaitlyn so fast.

soooo the final results are

* Bobby: Deceased. Bobby was mauled to death by his werewolf brother.

* Caleb: Still Infected. Having survived another full moon, Caleb Hackett returned to his human form.

* Constance: Deceased. Laura shot Constance's face off in a struggle for the gun.

* Chris: Still Infected. Dodging the snare trap, Jacob avoided becoming a hanging snack for werewolf Chris. As the curse wasn't broken, Chris must face it again at the next moon.

* Jedediah: Deceased. Jed was massacred by his werewolf son Chris.

* Kaylee: Deceased. Chris Hackett's daughter Kaylee was shot and killed by Laura, who mistook her for werewolf Chris.

* Travis: Deceased. Laura and Travis reached a bloody end at each other's hands.

* Abigail: Alive. Abigail made it to the safety of Chris Hackett's surveillance room.

* Dylan: Still Infected. Dylan survived the night, but must now live with the curse.

* Emma: Alive. Emma survived the night in the safety of Chris Hackett's surveillance room.

* Jacob: Alive. Dodging the snare trap, Jacob avoided becoming a hanging snack for werewolf Chris. As the curse wasn't broken, Chris must face it again at the next moon.

* Kaitlyn: Deceased. Kaitlyn failed to act quickly enough when Caleb stormed the lodge. The werewolf mauled her to death.

* Laura: Deceased. Laura and Travis reached a bloody end at each other's hands.

* Max: Still Infected. As Chris Hackett was left alive, Max remains infected with the werewolf curse.

* Nick: Still Infected. Nick survived the full moon in werewolf form.

* Ryan: Deceased. Ryan was killed by werewolf Chris, the camp leader he once looked up to.

* The White Wolf: Alive. As the sun rises the white wolf slinks back into the safety of the woods, waiting for the full moon to come again.

Walking into the same theatre after a trashfire audition

A few months ago I auditioned for a role at my local community theatre. I delivered the monologue I prepared, and then they gave me a page from the script and asked me to cold read.

Then the worst happened: I tripped over my words, tried to start again, tripped again, and then spiraled into a panic attack.

In front of the casting panel.

Broke down crying and everything. Even typing it out is making me tear up again. They smiled and told me I was doing great, they'd seen worse today, etc. They told me to go to the bathroom and splash some water on my face and calm down, which I did, and I finished the cold read once I came out again. But then one of them turned to the others and said "I think we've seen all we need to see."

So safe to say I did not get a callback and I left the room deeply embarrassed. I think I accidentally knocked something over on the way out, too.

But I still want to perform, and this community theatre is the closest one to me.

I am MORTIFIED that they might remember me and it might color their perception of my current performance. Advice?

If determination reverses the effect of "falling down," but TOO much determination causes the body to melt, is there a Goldilocks amount of determination that will leave them healthy?

So when Alphys injected the "fallen down" monsters with determination, there was a brief period of time in which they were awake and completely fine. Later, the determination caused them to melt and form the Amalgamates.

But if determination can cause a monster to wake up from "falling down," will just a *little* bit of determination heal then without causing their body to melt?

so my dad sent me a flyer for hadestown auditions near us and when i looked up the auditions page all they said about the dance auditions was that you needed to bring clothes you could move in and jazz shoes or sneakers.

this is my first time doing this and I'm confused. do I bring my own choreography or will they give me one when I get there?

EDIT: thanks all! my friends are encouraging me to do it for the plot so even though it might be too ambitious for a first audition I'll be trying for Eurydice at the end of the month!

I hesitate to use the term "lost media," as I feel as though it's been oversaturated, but I'm beginning to genuinely fear the short stories only published in digital editions of the *Star Trek Explorer* magazine now cannot be read except by those people who were subscribed to the digital edition back when it was being published.

For those unaware, *Star Trek Explorer* was a magazine that was published up until December of 2024. It included interviews and behind-the-scenes content and yes, short stories. While some were published in both the digital and physical editions of each issue, some were only published in the digital edition. These include stories such as "Freeblade" by David Mack and "The Needs of the Many" by Rich Handley.

However, with the cancellation of the magazine, it's become extremely difficult to find. Titan Comics has removed it from its website, local book and comic stores will not have it in stock, and while it's very possible I simply didn't look hard enough, I could not find it online. I was only able to find scanned copies of the digital editions of issues #6 through #14 through my local library's Libby app, and in the event that the app goes down or *Explorer* is removed from it, those issues will become lost to me as well. Not to mention that issues #1 through #5, as well as every issue from the decades it was in publication before rebranding as *Explorer,* I simply could not find. I worry that all the content in those issues might no longer be available.

And while *some* digital-exclusive short stories were collected in physical omnibuses (omnibi?) later, many were not. It's these I fear may be lost. In short, I write to ask if anybody has any information on where I can find the digital editions of *Explorer.* I'd like to find a way to archive them if at all possible.
