I cycle in central quite often and this area just seems like a death trap, it’s the one place I’ve had multiple near misses and I’d love to use an alternative but I can’t find any.

If you’re heading north/south the nearest safe route to the east is via Lion King, and to the west is via Hyde Park. Both pretty far away if you’re just trying to get from Euston to Victoria for example.

so I have three questions:

1 - how do you handle this junction?

2 - are there any cut throughs nearby or alternative north/south routes

3 - are there any plans to make it safer?
