As the 50’s set about, strong anti-communist sentiments perpetuated by one Joseph McCarthy led to a vast condemnation of masked vigilantism. After that, superheroes were no more. The only “heroes” were the ones who were subservient to their leaders. Doing their dirty work behind the scenes. So came the ban of supers and the rise of the DEO. Once an agency to stop supernatural threats, they expanded and became a military organization. Organized to house supers and costumed vigilantes and have them work for them. If the heroes didn’t want to work for the DEO, then there is retirement and prison. And with the vigilantes out of the way, government and corporations were free to continue their agendas. The social movement started by Wonder Woman was one of their biggest priorities to revert, and one Doctor Edgar Cizko was happy, happy, happy to aid in this. Sold by his mother due to his dwarfism, or that's what his handler told him, Cizko was subjected to constant humiliation from the women in the stands (there were mostly men within the audience, but that's besides the point). But he had a brilliant mind that he used to burn the circus to the ground, walking free as a new man the next day... After enjoying the screams of agony for about 10 minutes. His new social life wasn't any better however. Women igored him at best, or ridiculed him at worst (probably because of his nasty attitude towards women in general, but that's besides the point). Thus, dedicate his prodigious intellect to study the mind of women. How could a mind grow to associate itself so deeply with the feminine? What was its origin? And most importantly, how could he break and control everything within that disgusting spectrum? His journey to dissect the feminine mind led him to using his charisma on similarly afflicted males, the only people he could connect to, to aid him into kidnapping women to experiment on. His magnum opus was going to be a helmet that allowed him to interface with other minds. This project was stopped by Wonder Woman, and that defeat by a non-falic-possesing individual cemented an antagonism thay Diana honestly wished it stayed in the past, and that Cizko would ensure never died. Of course, the expermient wasn't a complete failure, as Edgar obtained mind control powers... Restricted only to men. Whatever. If Wonder Woman was going to be women's liberator, Cizko would be MEN's liberator! Liberate the world from feminine influence forever! Now called Doctor Psycho by the press, the strongest mysoginist in history would constantly try to undermine Diana's attempts of social reform for years. During the ban of superheroes, Diana lost her powers and needed to make due with his wits, some witchcraft, and diplomatics skills while seeking a way to dismantle or, preferably, reform the DEO and all these oppressive government agendas. Meanwhile, Cizko was having a blast. To preserve the American Dream illusion, the US government willingly gave Cizko all the resources he wanted to stop this new wave of feminism. In his own mental asylum, anyone that was deemed to have "problematic personality disorders" were "cured" of their "ailments". Cizko got to exercise his psychic powers on the men sent to him, while the women got lobotomized. You have autism? No, you don't! PTSD? Take that brain chunk out, and good as new! Anything that could cause a disturbance was sent straight to him to get swept beneath the rug, and Cizko loved being the cleaner! Why bother deciphering personalities, when you could get rid of them entirely! ...But losing her powers didn't stop Wonder Woman from getting in his way. This time she paralyzed him from the waist down! (Actually, he fell down the stairs, but that's besides the point) Now seeking to eliminate Wonder Woman once and for all. And for that, he needed power. Searching everywhere, he found a way, a way to elevate his psychic powers to a new dimension. The 5th dimension! ...Only to find out that he is essentially the weakest there. The native imps of the 5th dimension alter reality like its breathing, he ain't special. And due to his disgusting personality, every other imp considered him cringe. Isolated forever and refusing to change his ways, the only highlights for his pathetic life is whenever he can visit his old dimension with his new reality warping powers to beef with Wonder Woman... Until she finds a way to send him back, and, due to the rules of the 5th dimension, he has to wait for 3 months until he can return. Like sexism itself, Doctor Psycho, or Dcr Zyko as he is known in the 5th dimension, will always be back to make everyone as miserable as he is, no matter the gender.
