I'm (25F) looking for new friends w/ similar interests as me. Currently, I'm surrounded by friends and family that don't share my interests. I've tried going out of my way for them to try to get into their interests, but that energy is never reciprocated, so I'm usually just doing things with other people that only they like or enjoying things I like alone. So it just gets lonely sometimes.
It would be amazing to have people close in age to talk to about even just one of the following things:
- Bridgerton
- Painting/art (Maybe finally have someone to go to museums with!)
- Heated Rivalry (or BL media in general)
- Podcasts (I'm a fans of DWKT and Rotton Mango)
- Reading (I'm just getting back into reading again after years, currently I finished the first book of Dungeon Crawler Carl and want to finish the series. Definitely give me recs if you have any!)
- I would also love having a friend to actually go out and do things with. I would love to try new restaurants, bars, breweries. Most of the people around me like staying home or going to the same places all the time, and it gets boring for me.
