The Blue Lock Civil war is coming. In between the group stage and the knockout rounds I reckon there will be a small arc of infighting between the 2 camps of Karasu and Isagi. Both to add abit of variety, break up the monotony of constantly introducing new teams for our characters to interact with, and to introduce the buratsuta 3. With Kira getting his own cover (and being the most interesting choice) I reckon he’s the third.
Against France if France doesnt win 4-2 or atleast 3-2 Itll be unsatisfying as a narrative as the best team in the world is toe to toe with blue lock without sae and without their likely awakenings. Also i dont believe isagi or Rin will score despite the setup Because if they achieve that then what else is there to come in the story? We need some drama for the England match too. If isagi has a setback for half a match it wont be good storytelling. Therefore i reckon the match is gonna end with everyone down in the dumps except Karasu. Karasu will attempt to try to tell the others that they should follow him instead of isagi because his way worked and rin/isagi’s way of devouring each other didnt work. Ego will come in and tell Karasu to shut up and just rely on blue locks ego.
In the next match Itll be the same as usual and they will begin to lose to England. Going down 1-0 or 2-1. Ego will get desparate and try using Karasu’s Ego by making a massive switch of 5 Players and bring in Karasu’s boys like shidou, Otoya etc and they will score a goal and tie the match at 2-2. In the end blue lock advances due to nigeria buffing themselves against england and not giving away a 4 goal deficit. They’ll advance but it wont feel good, they wont be satisfied and will be hungry for more.
After this Karasu once again will be like ‘see dummies my way works and your way doesnt’. There will be a big argument with big names taking sides like Aiku and Hiori backing up Karasu’s way of thinking while Isagi and Rin dig in their heels. This all comes to a climax when Sae, Nagi and Kira walk in with Buratsuta and they propose a match. Winner is the starting lineup for the next game.
Teams are put together like Below. It’s pretty one sided but Karasu has Sae so it evens out somewhat. The match concludes with Isagi winning. Everyone awakens and blue lock is back to devouring each other. Karasu kicks the final goal losing 2-3 and still stating that his plan has benefits. Sae is still let on the starting team because he’s Sae and everyone would lose their minds if Sae isnt playing the first match. The people that joined with Karasu are still able to be played in the second match onwards as normal and we get a fun match of what Blue Lock used to be, fighting with friends for survival.
I reckon this is possible in one way or another. It’s not likely but i reckon it’ll be a cool place to take the series. I don’t want them to drop this Isagi vs Karasu dynamic after 1 game because its the most interesting thing from the past 2 matches (besides Hugo of course). Thank you for reading my Fanfiction.
