Hey there! I have primary amenorrhea at 30 and I’m FINALLY figuring out what’s up after poor experiences with a past gyn that led to some trauma.

My new gyn who is great and understanding, and very intrigued by my case, has requested a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm all of my anatomy is there/in shape.

This may be a silly question, but would it be weird to ask a friend to go with me? If it were external it would be fine but I’m extra nervous about this. Is that too weird or intrusive to ask? I can’t think of any SUPER close friends to go with me (they all live too far), but I have a friend who has done work as a doula and I’m thinking that may be a good move.

Just wondering about anyone else’s experiences.
