I took my first ever psychedelic journey yesterday, and I’m still vibrating from the afterglow. My friend and I headed down to a small, secluded bank of a lake with 2 grams of Yeti. I knew it was a potent strain, but nothing could have prepared me for the way the world was about to rewrite itself.
The "come-up" started about 45 minutes in. I was wearing sunglasses with a purple tint, and suddenly, the saturation on the world got turned up to 100%. The trees weren't just trees anymore—they started waving at me, their branches moving with a rhythmic, conscious energy. I looked up, and the clouds began to swirl, shifting into the intricate "eyes" of peacock feathers that spanned the entire sky.
Then, things got truly beautiful. I watched as the trees literally started "creating" the sky. I could see new clouds being birthed directly from the tips of the branches, woven out of thin air and released into the atmosphere. The colors were impossible vibrant oranges and deep purples, all outlined in a glowing, electric white. Faces began to emerge from the bark of the trees, watching us with a peaceful, ancient presence.
I was hit with this massive wave of pure, unfiltered joy. I’ve never been so happy in my life. In that moment, the "ego" just melted away. I felt like I was completely one with nature, and suddenly, I just understood everything. All the "noise" of life disappeared, and I realized how incredibly good my life is, how much I love my friends, and how lucky I am to be exactly where I am.
As we talked, time started to fracture. I fell into these massive "time loops" where we’d have the same conversation over and over again, but I wasn't frustrated at all. I felt like I was living in 1,000 different realities simultaneously. It was like I was seeing every possible version of the moment at once, and because I had that "universal understanding," it all made perfect sense.
I went into this looking for a new experience, but I came out of it with a total reset on my gratitude for life. The Yeti is no joke it took me to the edge of the universe and showed me that everything is connected.
