My fav has to be Zhang Ruonan and Leo Wu because his coat made me laugh, he still looked somewhat cute though.

For a brand event today, she looks so pretty and dreamy almost like fairy.

She looked really happy and energetic (even when she was tired)! She's a gorgeous bundle of joy.

Her studio just shared pictures of some of her outfits for her character that will be playing a wealthy heiress! Can't wait to see more of this drama, so far they've only released posters.

The Road to Splendor was just exquisitely and authentically shot. Knowing that so many of these scenes were filmed on real locations, without relying heavily on green screens or CGI, really made me appreciate how much shooting on location can add to a drama. There’s something about seeing real landscapes and environments that gives the visuals a sense of authenticity and makes everything feel so much more immersive. It’s just absolutely beautiful to look at. Ding Yuxi and Deng Enxi also did a fantastic job with their roles.

Honestly, I’d be surprised if another drama this year manages to top it.

What 2026 dramas have stood out to you for their cinematography so far? And do you think any of them can top The Road to Splendor?

Who was that one actor and what drama was it where their performance actually made you cry?

Mine is Goodbye My Princess. Peng Xiaoran in this role had me crying every time she cried. Her screams and sobs weren’t just devastating, you could genuinely feel the pain behind them. She made her character’s suffering feel so real that I couldn’t help but cry along with her.

Lu Yuxiao has now officially joined the cast for a new costume revenge drama with Zhang Linghe as the leads.

For me it would be A Splendid Match. Chemistry + acting was too good plus storyline. Best part is I wasn't even looking forward to this drama. I need Ci Sha in more costume lead roles ASAP.

Love seeing the BTS of this scene compared to the actual one. I had no idea they filmed it in a real desert and Ding Yuxi actually had to run that far. I know it’s their job, but it’s still so cool seeing what goes on behind the scenes. I thought the actual scene was done really well too, especially with that BGM.

Now listen, I totally get that he is not the most phenomenal or technically brilliant actor, but his actually a really good actor who clearly puts a lot into his roles. One thing about DYX is that he just has this presence that makes him so enjoyable to watch. And the way he uses his eyes?? That’s honestly one of my favourite things about his acting. Even in weaker dramas, I’ve always enjoyed his performances.

I think his doing a fantastic job in The Road to Splendor and I genuinely don’t understand what people find so terrible about his acting in this role so far. The drama just dropped recently.

As for his looks, I can understand why some people might not find him attractive, but his definitely NOT ugly. I think it’s more his charm that pulls you in. Between his talent, his presence and the way he carries himself off-screen, I personally find him very attractive.

If Ding Yuxi is the ML, you already know that man is going to be DEVOTED. His eyes always says so much when it comes to portraying love!

This has got to be one of my new favorite romantic scenes from the road to splendor! So beautifully done even the BGM!
