My story takes place in a futuristic society where humanity has colonized many planets and earth is like a legend. I have a large cast of characters mirroring people from every earth continent. Statistically white people are a minority.

One of my characters is an that alien who seeks out evil-doers and hijacks their bodies, snuffing out the original personalities. He changes bodies quite frequently. He is meant to be morally grey and the narrative makes it clear that he is wrong for stealing human bodies.

I am worried about the implications behind stealing the body of a person of color. Is there a way to avoid this while keeping a diversity in cast?
