What scene do you think had no right to go as hard as it did?
Personally, I think it was Drifter's part in the final battle, dude's friend had just been midas'd, and you can FEEL the rage, especially when he stabs NGM in the face and the panning shot of the explosion of energy/coolant from the back of NGMs head.
Like the entire scene is Drifter aura farming, not that that's a bad thing.
