This batch also includes my two oldest models of the army. The Hive Tyrant was the first model I painted, years ago in a different style and for an older concept of the army, which I posted in this subreddit here. It was thus also the first of the longnecks of my army, which I refined with the Spinegaunts, and then threw caution to the wind with for the Tyrannofex, which is by far the dumbest looking model I have ever converted, I love it so much.
The Tyrant Guard was one of the first Warhammer models I ever got, back around the turn of the millennium, and so I decided to paint it in my version of a Behemoth colour scheme to give it the impression of truly being from an older generation than the rest of the army.
