Sometimes, Telecharge is a dream!
Earlier today I purchased 2 tix for Much Ado. About ten minutes after I purchased, I realized a different date would have worked so much better (because it overlapped with In the Heights at CCNY). Ugh, I'm an out of towner, and so our trips are usually an overnight stay.
When I mentioned my error to my partner, he suggested I see if TC would change the date, and the pessimist in me thought: ugh, final sale, they won't. But I TRIED. After all, the same seats exactly one week earlier were still available at the same (discounted) price!
After an almost 20 minute wait on hold, the very kind gentleman took care of the whole thing for me. Took maybe ten minutes. Of course, they have to purchase the new ones before they can cancel the others.....and I just rec'd conf of both transactions as I was typing this.
Remember: use the THEATER line (212) 239-6200 or (800) 447-7400) and always be kind - it goes a long way. I just love it when a plan comes together!
