Hi, making a 18.5ft x 15ft pergola and I am wondering how to run the 18.5 ft side. I plan to use 2x4s. I cant find a 2x4x20 lumber to cut to size. So, i was thinking of using two 2x4x10's, cut to size and joining them together. I prefer not to have a beam in he center of pergola holding he two ends of the lumber, centering them on the 4x4 for support. Any ideas of how to join the two 2x4x10's together without the need of center column for the support. thank you
