Both for mechanical engineering, and I am transferring from a cc.
I get it, UCLA has more prestige which is valuable, but UCSD has a slightly better ranking for engineering. I also hope to enjoy the campus and environment more at UCSD. Also, research and club opportunities are probably a little easier to get into at UCSD, which is important as I only have 2 years worth of time. Would you guys be able to advise on these points?
I plan on doing a lot more research and visiting both, but what are some factors that I should consider that I might be missing?
