Hi everyone! I'm having trouble deciding between SDSU and PCC and I would really appreciate if you guys could pitch in your opinions?
Initially thought my first semester I planned on going to PCC for financial reasons but wanted to apply to SDSU anyways to try my luck and incase i changed my mind. Then, I got in! and then the issues begun. I got a very good financial aide offer (20k/yr but 9k with loans + work study) so I started to feel really conflicted because to me that doesnt sound like it would ruin me financially. Then, I was thinking about the social aspect about going to a CC and it scares me because commuter schools are more transactional since most people just go home (also got this intel from people who have gone to a cc) so i was like ok ill just go to SDSU because im also very afraid of missing out on the four year experience and such. But now im thinking, how am I going to pay the extra 9k a year and also my parents aren't being supportive about this at all. they think i will crumble, and I think my dad might threaten again to disown me if i go. I really want to be at SDSU but I'm afraid my parents are right, and that I will crumble. My mom also says she's getting rid of my room so I don't know where I'd go during breaks and summer. Please help.
