How is joining bonus (which people get when they switch to Amazon) compensated for people who get internally promoted?
People who make a switch (let’s say at SDE-2 L5 level) get joining bonus for two years but who gets promoted from SDE1 to SDE2 won’t get joining bonus.
So, is that difference compensated in anyway? Is it that base of internal promoted is more than external switch candidates?
