Akko 3098B stuck in Bluetooth mode after pairing with MacBook dongle no longer works
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Akko 3098B that started today after connecting it to my MacBook via Bluetooth using Fn + E.
I also normally use the keyboard with the 2.4GHz USB dongle on my Windows PC, but now the keyboard seems stuck in Bluetooth mode. Even when I switch to Windows mode, it still won’t connect through the dongle.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Resetting the keyboard
- Using
Fn + U - Disconnecting/removing the keyboard from the MacBook
- Reconnecting the dongle
- Restarting both devices
At the moment, the keyboard only works in wired mode through USB-C.
It still behaves as if it’s connected to Bluetooth even after disconnecting the MacBook. I’m wondering if I accidentally switched it into a Bluetooth-only profile or if I need to manually switch back to 2.4GHz mode somehow.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to force the keyboard back into dongle mode?
