we're traveling 2-6 july and see interval showers n thunderstorms on the 3-4th. Any idea how cold it can feel for someone who's never been to such altitudes and coming from westcoast beach weather? i have only a day to acclimatize before we begin day long hikes. Ik the hike itself will build warmth but not sure if we can dress light or better fully covered w heavy jacket? how have yall felt when there?

6 friends roadtripping along the coast for memorial weekend. we have many destinations to cover in Monterey n Big Sur area but looking for recommendations for good stops, food, great views, fun things to do on our drive up from san diego. We start driving after work on friday. We are also hoping to visit a winery. We are assuming the weather will feel cooler than the expected temperatures, shd we pack all jackets and pants?

Any suggestions for medium hiking trails in Big sur? There's a lot of info on the internet but we would rather prefer suggestions off personal experiences ❤️
