Thoughts on CompE and MechE?

Hello all, I’m a Computer Engineer student that just transferred to a Uni from CC. Almost through with the semester I realized that CMPE hasn't been what I was expecting and have been considering switching majors, with ME at the top of my list.

My main reason for switching is that I like how broad ME is and I'm interested in how hands-on it seems. I would definitely have to brush up on my Physics, but I guess main concern is how impacted ME currently is at my school and if I can even get in.

My main reason for NOT switching is that I do find coding and robotics somewhat interesting and it would obviously be easier to stick to my current roadmap.

Any advice?

Advice on switching to Mechanical Eng.

I'm a Computer Engineer transfer student and this is my first semester at SJSU. Almost through with this semester I realized that CMPE hasn't been what I was expecting and have been considering switching majors with ME at the top of my list.

For anyone currently or graduated in ME, what was your experience like? (courses, professors, or even ME as a whole)
