I read a book from my middle school library that was basically about a cult that believed the end of the world was coming so they all took their families to the top of a mountain to live. Once there a teen girl and boy meet and form a bond, i think the girl knew it was all BS but had to follow her family. Thats all I remember but I hope somebody recognizes it. This was a florida public school library in the 2010's if that helps narrow it down
