Money stuck in Deceased father account from months now finally found a solution but wants to know the scope of its legality !!!
Hello my father died last year in December and he had an account in pnb without nominee and no debit card so when we visited the bank to claim the amount they told us that we need to present a bunch of documents and forms like vanshavali and affidavit and to present three people with 2 being witness and 1 being surety. But I was busy with my studies and the process has been delayed since, "but today I found out that I can also login in phonepe or bhim by using the aadhar no. Of my father and it worked I also tried it but sending 1rs to my brother's account and it credited successfully so will using this process create any issues in future please tell me .

Tldr: Father died Dec 2025, PNB account ₹46k, no nominee. Bank demanding surety + witnesses. Discovered I can access his account via Aadhaar on PhonePe — already sent ₹1 as test. Will withdrawing this way cause legal issues?
