Palafin ex
Ive been playing around with this idea. I like water Pokémon and enjoy trying out off meta decks so I created a palafin ex deck cause it hits for 250 with a single energy. Granted it’s basically a stage 2 that’s more difficult to get out but the surfing beach does help some with the zero to hero ability. I’ve played a few games and it’s gone alright (probably close 50-50 in terms W:L) but I feel like I’m missing something and I can’t put my finger on it.
I know I don’t love max belt with the deck but I’m not sure of which ace spec to use. The reason I really went with belt is cause I could potentially OHKO a pult with palafin ex if I use black belt training too but that’s a pretty niche senario but belt does allow me to knock out TR mewtwo which is nice. Just not sure if unfair stamp or another ace spec would work better. Any thoughts?
Also clefairy and munki don’t really fit in the deck but I didn’t know if there was something better to put there as it would also help against pult. Moltres is just in for grass cause I feel like I see a lot of teal mask etc but again doesn’t fit at all but the prism energy is a useful thing and colress allows me to search it if needed.
I don’t know I feel like palafin ex could be good especially with surfing beach to create a core deck around, it just doesn’t feel there’s a ton of support in the water Pokémon with the current meta and trying to get ideas for this. Anyway thanks for taking a look and let me know what you think!
