Cutting a Hole in a water tank and screwing a lid on.
Hey guys so i recently purchased this water tank for a low profile setup and i wanted to know if anyone has ever cut and installed their own lid on their water tank or had a similar situation? I’ve seen videos online
but im not sure if its safe to cut a hole and screw a lid into my tank. I know a tank isn’t necessary but i detail in california heat so hard water spots are a major issue. The places that offer DI water near me don’t have hoses that will fit on a garden hose thread they’re just open ended cut hoses so i need to actually place the hose inside the roof of the tank to actually fill it with water. Has anyone ever done this or can you
guys reccomend any alternatives? (Cannot invest in my own DI system right now).
