Whoever left this girl behind, I want you to know she’s ok
Two years ago we took in a homeless cat. She kept coming into our yard and we wanted to know where she lived, wanted to make sure she had a home. We put an AirTag on her and found her going to a house down the street. My husband knocked on their door and they said that she was living under their back deck and had been since they moved in. They fed her but couldn’t take her in. Their theory was the previous owners just left her. We were 100% confident she didn’t belong to anyone so we captured her and brought her to Steven Swan. They couldn’t take her because they were at capacity. Im assuming that’s what happened when her previous owners tried to do the same thing, just a theory.
We brought her to the vet, she had fleas, worms, ticks and they verified she was fixed and a girl. We took her in and she’s been with us for about 2 years now and absolutely love her.
I just wonder if her previous owners wonder whatever happened to her and just wanted to say, she’s ok and being spoiled by a family of four.
