Hi all,
I'm currently enrolled as a language student in Japan and plan to withdraw in June. Beginning of April I have been interviewing with a small company in a specific field I have experience in (I do hold a foundation degree equivalent to 専門学校) and have 10+ years work experience.
Now the company wants to hire me but have never done Visa sponsorship before so they're unsure how to proceed.
There's been a back and forth now discussing how to start, they offered a trial period while on the designated activities visa, but as far as I am aware, I'm not eligible for that.
I'm wondering if anyone else went through something similar? My language school won't really help and don't advise anything useful for me.
Also please don't say get a degree, I am aware this was a requirement for a work Visa when I came but sometimes people have different life paths and I'm just looking for some advice / similar situations.
