Suggestions for family trip early June
We are a family of 4(me , wife, 5 and 7 year olds) from Hyderabad planning to visit Manali, Kasol and surrounding areas for 10 days starting from 4 or 5th of June. We plan to reach Chandigarh by flight and take a bus or a cab from there. It's a budget trip with 3 star hotels etc.
We want to enjoy the cool weather, walk around, enjoy local food, play in snow, visit any nearby temples etc. Ideally I would love to stay away from crowded spots.
It looks like traffic and crowds are going to be a problem in June in Manali and surrounding areas. I read on a few blogs that it's going to be full of traffic jams and reading Rohtang pass will take 5-6 hours.
Please suggest if it's a good time to visit, where to stay(in Manali or nearby villages like Sethan, Naggar etc.), what to avoid, how can we get around locally etc..
If the crowds and traffic are going to be really terrible, suggest any other place that are great for small kids.
In the worst case, we plan to go to Goa from Hyderabad.
