Thoughts/advice needed... low GPA.

I'm currently a junior (rising senior) at a T30 institution majoring in Applied Maths & Chemistry, and I've been thinking about my application for a bit due to my low GPA. I'm trying to have an optimistic POV and I do feel like I have a chance but not sure.

Basically heres my stats/ "app":

- projected ~3.4 GPA - my narrative isn't even too strong so far, its just that I was a pre-med student but confused on what I want to do with my life, until I found my fav majors and realized I want to do a MD/PhD.

- MCAT, haven't done yet, but deciding to take during my gap year. Will definitely be high.

- 500 research hours in a neuroscience lab so far (only been ~2 semesters so far, but working in the same lab full time over the summer, and then taking a bit lighter course load next semester to dedicate time to lab. Then planning on doing more research during my 2 gap years)

- starting manuscript, pending patent with PI, will lead to strong LOR from here

- clinical (shadowing for a few hrs, working on getting CCMA certified) - my program requires 100-200 hrs of externship so not super worried based off of my pace

- ec's: tutored high school students over 200 hrs, VP of a community health nonprofit + student org, undergrad TA for Quantum chem class, lead of a team for a 6 month "consulting" project for the Chemistry department. Also lead the operations/tech at a local business.

Basically not sure what to do at this point, I'll keep doing research and I have alot of potential in lab if I have the time. Not sure if I want to do a masters because it would interfere from my time in research. My school list is pretty much any ~T30-40 on the East coast.

Any advice or success stories would be appreciated!!
