Anyone have a recommendation to my issue? I have mold growing around the shower pan perimeter. I caulked the perimeter of the pan where the walls intersect with the tiled shower pan and the caulk seems to be a great ecosystem for the mold to grow. I’ve heard people say don’t caulk the perimeter and do grout instead because of its permeability which allows the water to escape. But it’s a change of plane so that’s not a good idea in my head. I’ve done multiple different methods to get rid of the mold but it’s not doing much. I’m at the point now to where I’m wanting to take a heat gun and remove the caulk. Open to any suggestions. Thanks.
