Recently got a new job and wanted to reward myself. So I got myself the new wacom cintiq 16 (2025). Coming from an XP-Pen artist 16 pro (gen 2) that I got used. Wanted to upgrade because the Xp-pen has a problem where if I move it the display will cut out, and the pressure would sometimes just not work without messing with it.

Honestly the wacom feels way better to draw on but besides that, there's not much difference. The size and resolution are the same but obviously paid more for the wacom. Also i heard stuff about the pro pen 3 being easy to break and wacom cutting support for tablets after a few years and I plan on using this tablet for a very long time.

I just want to see if the upgrade is worth it. I bought from Best Buy and since I'm a member i have 60 days to return it. I was also thinking about the movink pad 14, because the portability and being able to connect to my pc sounds awesome to me. But, I'm worried about it becoming obsolete sooner rather than later. Also if connecting it to the computer as a cintiq is even good, cause I've used super display on the ipad on my pc and did not like it.

I was also thinking about the Huion kamvas 22 (gen 3), but to be honest I've not had the best experience with huion products. But, would be willing to try again if it's worth it.

I just want to get a really nice tablet for drawing that I'll use for a long time. IDK if this info will help but i primarily use Clip Studio Paint and Aseprite.
