Long Term Care
Looking for some advice on long-term care insurance. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about the cost of nursing homes and assisted living, and I’m trying to figure out when the “right” time is to actually purchase a policy.
For those of you who have it (or work in the industry), when did you buy? 40s? 50s? Closer to retirement?
Also, are there any companies you’d actually recommend for long-term care coverage? I’ve heard mixed things about rate increases and denied claims, so I’d love to hear real-world experiences.
