I notice this with several apps especially social media and delivery ones. I deny location access but after a while they ask again sometimes with slightly different wording. It feels persistent and a bit annoying.

Is this just poor app design or is there a technical reason why they keep prompting? Do they eventually stop or is there a setting that makes them respect the denial permanently?
