Is there any way to survive the Forlorn Hope section with these stats? I keep dying after the Antari counterattack.

I've been following this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1579301620 and apparently I should have enough soldiering to survive the counterattack, but when the firing squad comes, it's game over.

For more info, I'm doing a disgraced soldiering run and I have the runegun to blow up the cannon soldiers. No armor of course, and I don't have Caz or his men with me.

I know this is kinda hard to implement, so I'm putting it quite loosely. I'm mainly looking for IFs where people react to changes that happen in the book, like personality changes where the MC starts off brooding but becomes more open. Or more out there, stat changes, where characters can notice MC getting more charismatic?

Open to recommendations like Fallen Hero too, where the MC had a past where they were different. But the above is just the current 'flavor' I'm chasing currently.
