I'm hoping to get some guidance on what, if anything, I'm doing wrong with my attempt to set up a remote powered mining outpost.

Here's what I've done:

1. Established a powered ropeway system leading from my base in the Northern Rainforest to some iron ore nodes in the Southern Wasteland.
2. Placed two powered mines at the end of the ropeway system and connected them like this:
   1. Main base to power mine 1
   2. Power mine 1 to power mine 2
3. Confirmed that my ropeway station at my base, and the two powered mines, are powered adequately.
4. Set up the Item Transport Settings to transfer all items from each mine to the base every 30 minutes.
5. Personally traveled the length of the ropeway system to ensure it is complete and functional. I encountered no issues with trees/rocks blocking my path, although I understand that wouldn't affect items being transferred.
6. Assigned a caretaker to each mine, and each one is producing ore.

It does not appear that either mine is sending items at the 30 minute mark, but I haven't confirmed that yet. What I do know is that I can manually transport items from Mine 1 by using Transport Supplies from the mine's operation menu, but when I try that from Mine 2, nothing happens.

Can I daisy chain mines together on the same ropeway system, one after the other like I did? If so, is there something I need to do with the transport settings to make it work? If not, can I connect two mines to the same ropeway system and how?

Edit: Can confirm that items are being transferred from Mine 1 to base every 30 minutes. So it appears my issue is only with Mine 2 which has the Mine 1 connection between it and the base.
