New iPhone 17 Pro issues
I got my first ever iPhone on 19th April 2026 which is 17 Pro.
Out of the box I didn’t notice any issues, neither during setup or 1-2 weeks usage. Recently I discovered few issues described as below:
1.Back glass just below the camera plateau and from top sides is slightly raised from the aluminium frame but completely intact on bottom.
2.I experience noticeable jitter when scrolling WhatsApp, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram and other third party apps. The lag/jitter is horrible in the wallpaper setting of this iPhone.
3.Whenever I update to new version of iOS my cellular data stops working for some apps,meaning few apps will work fine with cellular data while other won’t. Like Uber, Reddit, Clash of Clans, Twitter won’t work or load at all.
4.In the official iOS 26 wallpaper and iPhone 17 Pro wallpaper if you select solid clock on lock screen and when youre on home screen if I pull down notification shade there is a wallpaper distortion for slight moment.
Wanted to highlight that Ive hard reset this iPhone 2 times already to fix issues 2,3,4 but no success. Ive tried all possible steps I could find on internet.
None of these issues exists for iPhones that my brother, friends have. Im seriously disappointed in this purchase as I upgraded after 7 years.
If anyone can help me with these issues it is highly appreciated. Ive talked to Apple Support and they suggested to visit an authorised service centre which Ill do.
