After answering dozens of questions, I signed up through Google and it says:

The friendly chat is AI who claims this message shows if you have a tutor account. I don't. Transferring to customer support "our usual wait few hours. " That's neither quick nor friendly.

AI also told me preply doesn't verify emails, great way to allow someone to misuse your email.

Lame service. Waste of time.
