i like meeting new people from different states..

but i live in a small town in south GA LOW cost of living...so people her don't make too much. for some reason we got an influx of people moving here to retire or they work remote. they are coming from NY, CA etc. selling their homes for $900k and out bidding the locals here...in cash. our homes used to be around $220k, but now they're all $500k and no one can get them...and people move here buying in cash are ruining our housing economy. is anyone else experiencing this in their town? there Must be some federal law or something? even 2bed 2 bath $1,400 sq ft duplex is $300k...like average salary here is $50k!!
