Baldi’s Basics – A Simulator of a Disabled Person (Complete Theory)
Initial hypothesis(ignore it, go to clarification ): Baldi has autism, so he doesn't see that he's killing. He sees a bad student in the player, and wants to spank him, but miscalculates his strength and dismembers him alive with a ruler. Or maybe it's not autism – maybe it's something worse.
Clarification: No – it's like this: we are the student. Our buddy forgot the other notebooks at school because he was in a hurry. We arrive, and Baldi meets us – he was on his way to a job interview. Our student is a schizophrenic: he doesn't see the steps, he sees everything in bright colors, he doesn't see a teacher – he sees a demon. The school itself is a boarding school. That's why, to prevent injuries, the principal monitors running, soda ("careful, slippery floor"), and simply teleports us to the classroom – but we forget that there is no teleportation, it's just mild dementia.
Characters:
· Playtime – a trainee PE teacher. He watches the students to make sure they jump, showing that their health is more or less okay.
· Sock – a hallucination that makes us lose consciousness (like in Far Cry 5).
· Bully – just a bully.
· Broom – a robot vacuum cleaner with pillows, but something broke and now it moves at high speed. Since after classes nobody bothers it (it doesn't really get in the way, and sometimes even helps to get somewhere fast), they leave it alone.
· Gotta Sweep (the principal's broom) – just a unique AI robot.
Baldi and the heart: When the student touches Baldi, he has a heart attack. Baldi knows about the student's heart condition and wants to help. The hallucination of a demon, the ruler – these are consequences of schizophrenia or brain damage. By the way, about the job interview: Baldi saw us, said hello (he's kind at the beginning – that shows he's genuinely kind, for example giving a quarter for a correct answer). When we solved the second notebook, Baldi was sent by the administration to catch the student because of his heart defect.
Stages: Baldi Plus, the fight with Null, the new runs – that's already a coma.
The red ending: When you collect all the notebooks and the school turns red, Baldi runs without any jokes, because he understands what might happen. The student happily runs out of school but has a stroke and collapses. This happened sometimes, and Baldi runs to prevent more episodes. When the school is all red and there's noise coming from somewhere – that's the heart and brain failing to handle the pressure and stress, and the eyes are filled with blood.
Asthma support: The theory is reinforced by health issues: the student simply can't breathe when he moves (asthma, for example). He needs to stand still, otherwise he can't keep running – the air just won't come.
Final conclusion: So, oh man. Now I think Baldi is a simulator of a disabled person.
