I pre-booked a TWSBI Eco in the Fluorite Purple and Bronze from my local fountain pen shop when they first announced they were bringing them in, and received it today. I chose a stub nib since I know I'm going to load it down with shimmers. While trying to choose an ink, I ended up swatching a few inks on TRP 68gsm that this pen reminded me of... I didn't realise I had that many pink inks.

Shimmers:

-Van Dieman's Twilight Mist, Persian Princess, Moon Jellyfish, Marilyn, Snowy Mountain Sunset (2026 formulation), Lilac Breasted Roller Breast

-Lennon Tool Bar Yen Ran

Non shimmers:

-Wearingeul Pride and Prejudice (not captured is the golden sheen)

- J Herbin Larmes de Cassis

(Funnily enough I'm most drawn to Larmes de Cassis though.)

Testing out my new TWSBI Eco Root Beer, inked with Van Dieman's Queenstown Gold Mine. As of 1 and a half pages of writing, the pen seems able to keep up with this glittery, shimmery ink. I think this might be a good combo to whip out again in the last quarter of the year.
