Passed SecAI+. Ask me anything!

Hello everyone!

I’m new to this CompTIA sub but I’ve held Security+ and Network+ for a while now. Just passed the SecAI+ exam with a score of 778 out of 900 (passing is 600).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!

1.) In terms of resources I used the CompTIA’s Certmaster Perform which had all the resources you’d probably need for the exam including a few labs as well and most importantly, the official practice questions which are quite handy. The review questions they provide are a bit different to the real exam but the practice exam that comes with the pack is the most useful. There is an eBook from Mike Chapple as well but I didn’t rely on it as much. Studied seriously for 1 week and then attempted the exam.

2.) The exam consisted of 50 questions that you need to answer within 60 minutes. Timing was extremely fair and you may quite easily finish the exam early as well (at least that was my personal experience). 4 PBQs of which 2 were stupidly easy and the other 2 consisted of a true AI+Security usage.

3.) There is some Security+ overlap but quite barely. Only 4-5 questions were similar to what you’d get on the Security+ exam but obviously with some AI overlap.

Ask me anything else you’d wanna know!
