I saw the new Hearts of Pine store open near Trader Joe’s today so I wandered in to find something affordable to buy and support local. The tank top I bought had a price sticker on it that said $19, but then when I checked out it was $32? They asked if I was a season ticket holder, which I’m not, but there was no sign saying that the price on the item was the season ticket holder price, and it’s actually a good deal more expensive. I was too embarrassed to then tell them no and walk off because it was significantly more expensive than I thought, so I bought it. I’m aware that that’s a me problem. Has anyone else had this experience with them before? Is it an accepted practice to have on price on an item but it isn’t accurate?
