hello.

I am renting a single apartment (half of a two unity house) In Rhode Island.

in the past I have occasionally had some inquiries regarding: rental assistance, alongside with general interest in the unit.

recently however whenever I post it on a website I immediately receive messages that ONLY ask “ do you accept rental assistance?”

I would not think much of it, but I heard on the radio that this can be some kind of trick question (the radio called it a “scam” not necessarily accurately) to catch us in some infringement.

I realize I am probably being paranoid but is there anything I should be careful about there?
